Global Slush believes that it is important to take social responsibility and make a positive change where you can - around the world and in local communities. Thus when you buy and/or invest in Global Slush you take part in making a change for youth through education and capacity building projects.
Global Slush focus on youth as they are the futures leaders and caretakers and thus the most important target group. We must empower and strengthen the capacity of youth, so they will be able to master the challenges we experience today with political tumult and climate change.
As much as possible Global Slush aims to invest in youth projects where you are. Meaning, when you buy/or invest in Global Slush you invest in the community and environment around you. If you live in Turkey you help and empower youth in Turkey and maybe even in the city where you live. We already have partners, however please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any suggestions to and/or knowledge of youth capacity building projects/organisations. Specifically Global Slush give 10% of its surplus to locale initiatives that meet our goals and ambitions:
- Projects that focus on formal and informal education for children and youngsters, that can advance their skills and capacity to become their own agents of change.
- Initiatives that support children and youngsters’ cultural understanding and integrity. For instance through developing different sport events, establishing sport platforms fx a football field etc.
Our wish is to raise our contribution with extra 5% after 2 years, and thus in total give 15% of our total surplus by 2020.
